Tom’s wrong to believe in empty space, to believe in going place, to believe a man is a man when he chooses not to choose.
Tom’s wrong to believe in the rat race, to believe in smiling face,
To believe that adolescent consensual words make a career for consolation.
Tom’s wrong to believe in the gutter, to believe in the ghetto, to believe that he could just lower the window and call me,
So wrong to believe in the bouncer, to believe I’m a gogo,
To believe he could easily discriminate sex upon demand from his inner love.
He thought “I would just fit with him with dynamic versatility, I got a high capability of adaptation, definitely. It’s a must have for a sound relationship of happy equality”… Well, me think he didn’t figure it out…
Tom’s wrong to believe in puppy love, to believe nothing’s above, to believe a deal is fine when it is in line with his thoughts,
Tom’s wrong to believe in charity, but not in variety, to believe that love is the very conjunction of two projections (he’s so lucid). That’s why he so eager to find like in a mirror a resembling partner. Tom is wrong.
I was spiraling around him, ambulating round his Kaaba. I offered him my self-esteem to fill his desiderata.
Tom’s wrong to believe in the gutter, to believe in the ghetto, to believe that he could just lower the window and call me
So wrong to believe in the bouncer, to believe I’m a gogo,
To believe he could easily discriminate sex upon demand from his inner love.
“There is no harm in tenderly smothering the sentiment that could be arising.
There can be no resentment, since high levels of entertainment are displayed in order to compensate for any deep engagement”
But Tom’s wrong. Tom is wrong.

Another stellar release from this long-lived ensemble. Though the King Crimson influence is obvious & that comparison unavoidable, these guys have made many great recordings that can't be categorized as 'mere copies'. The perfect balance of aggressive riffing and serene soundscapes. Stephen Roberts

In 1981 I was with my father in a Tangerine Dream concert in the Stadthalle Bremen. This piece of music brought both memories of this event and a very fresh note on top. Wonderful music beyond time and technology. erik maronde
